Ladies ladies this is make up 101: Contouring !!! It"s basiclly using a bronzer a shade lighter then your skin and mate powder or fondation a shade darker then your skin to "contour" or to bring out your facial feature or help shape your face it will really make your face pop and your face tinner!

Contouring with makeup is usually applied on the temple area, nose, eyes, and chin areas. You can use a cream or liquid contouring makeup product, however powder or mineral powders give a smooth, satin finish and are easiler to blend.

This picture is a great exemple of perfect contouring of your all face but you dont have to go so dramatic and coutour your all face but to me contouring your cheeks is a must must!!!

To contour your cheeks(see picture below) You use darker mate colours for your deeper areas (such as that crease that is created on your cheeks when you make a fishy face) to give depth to your face. Remember MATE is the key here, whatever you use it gotta be mate because using something with shine won't do the trick. You use a brighter colour(highlight colour) to bring out your cheekbones by applying it right above the cheeks, under the eyes and then normal blush on the apples of your cheeks.

To contour your nose(see picture below) - use the deeper colour(MATE) on the sides of your nose all the way until the tip and just under the tip of your nose. then use the highlight colour(with shine) on the top of your nose but not so much on the very end of your nose.

To contour Forehead: If you have a wide forehead, apply a light bronzer to each temple and blend. This will create a shadow effect causing the head to look more rounded.

To contour Chin: For a small, thin chin, apply highlighter to the center of the chin, directly under the center of the lip. To minimize a double chin, apply bronzer along the jaw line and blend it down, towards your neck. This creates depth and helps to strengthen the jaw line.
You should always apply contouring color on your neck to your shirt line to avoid a "mask" look.
